Magician Bio
Anna DeGuzman (born in 1998), an American-Filipino magician, has become one of the world’s leading specialists in cardistry and card magic. An only child raised by her single mother in New Jersey, her magical journey began in childhood, when she looked for ways to entertain herself by playing with cards.
Anna began practicing magic seriously around the age of sixteen and quickly gained major popularity by posting videos of card magic routines on social media. She studied accounting before dedicating herself fully to her career as a magician.
The only woman registered at the annual Cardistry-Con convention, she has since been praised by GQ magazine as “an exceptional magician of the digital era” and by The New York Times as “one of the few women shaping the future of magic.” She has appeared on various television shows, including Amazingness on MTV and Penn & Teller: Fool Us. She notably became the first female magician to reach the finale and finish second on season 18 of America’s Got Talent in 2023.
Anna is also very active on social media, with more than 700,000 followers on TikTok, where she shares her talent, humor, and charm through viral videos. She was the very first official ambassador for Bicycle Playing Cards and hosts the show Interview with a Magician on Complex.
Anna has performed for celebrities, collaborated with major brands, and continues to influence the entertainment and magic industries through her innovative style and charisma. She is recognized not only for her technical mastery but also for her commitment to supporting women in the world of magic, encouraging them to enter this discipline.
